As we blogged back in 2005, Johnny Depp is a huge prankster and has been known to use fart machines and other props & gags on many, if not all of his sets.

Now, according to an post tribune article published earlier today, Depp has been caught again with his trusty whoopee cushion, this time on the set of ‘Public Enemies (2009)’, an upcoming John Dillinger biography.

When Phil Struebig bought the dilapidated circa 1926 Lake County Criminal Court Building on South Main Street in Crown Point, he never envisioned Johnny Depp eating a sandwich in its courtroom nearly 20 years later. The Struebigs’ eldest son, Jordan, 23, got to know the crew. “They told me Johnny Depp brought in a whoopie cushion and he would make it go off when he wasn’t in a scene,” he said.
