Priority, First Class Price Changes

It’s May, and for the last year or two at least that means new US mail rates. The 1oz letter rate for 1st class went up by a penny, no surprise there. But other mail classes, namely priority mail, have actually come down slightly for some weight classes & shipping zones. Because our rates are pulled directly from their server they were updated at midnight yesterday.

UPS ground is still more economical for the vast majority of orders over 1lbs, but the post office is getting more competitive and fighting for marketshare. To that end they have also extended very tiny commercial & volume discounts to online shippers (us) which we intend to kick back to customers (you).

More exciting though, are changes made to international mail. Hopefully we will have something to announce on that soon.
