If you haven’t heard, Jason Giambi of the New York Yankees has been growing out a moustache for the last month or so and its popularity with fans has grown out of control. More recently he was nominated for a spot on the All-Star team (voting ends at 5pm today). Part publicity, and partly to boost his chances of being selected, the Yankees took advantage of the moustaches’ new popularity and handed out 20,000 of our fake moustaches to fans at a game last night.
